Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Rotterdam, Spares Center Rotterdam (SCR) is an independent supplier of marine technical equipment and a proud member of the MI Group.
With over 73.000 parts in stock and direct factory contracts, SCR combines the breadth of a full-range supplier with the speed and reliability of a local partner. Our own fleet of trucks delivers daily to the ports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Flushing and Antwerp with in-stock items often onboard the same day.
Company history
1986
Spares Center Rotterdam purchased its own company premises in Rotterdam, a significant milestone that enabled the company to expand its warehouse, office facilities and operational capabilities.
1989
By the early 2000s, SCR had grown to a team of 10 dedicated professionals. This milestone reflected the company's steady growth, expanding technical expertise and commitment to supporting customers with reliable marine, offshore and industrial supply solutions.
2023
With the appointment of Managing Director Charlotte Hersbach, SCR entered a new phase of growth and innovation, strengthening its focus on customer service, digital transformation and operational excellence. .
2025
SCR unveiled a new brand identity, introducing a modern logo and visual identity that reflects the company's evolution. While our look has changed, our commitment to quality, technical expertise and customer service remains stronger than ever.
2026
SCR introduced a fully digital warehouse management system, combining barcode scanning, real-time inventory management and automated order processing. The investment significantly improved accuracy, traceability and operational efficiency while reducing the risk of picking errors.
